Traveling For The Korean holidays in 2013

South Korea is one of the most interesting countries in all of Asia. Unlike its northern neighbor, South Korea is a democracy and has one of the most successful economies on Earth. There are many things to see and do in the country for both locals and tourists. One of the most scenic places in the country is Seoraksan National Park. It is located in Gangwon and has some of the most beautiful mountains in the world. It is truly the perfect place to spend your Korean holidays. There is plenty of accommodation available at the Park and it can fit almost any budget. Prices range from $30 per night to more than $100 per night. There are also lots of campgrounds in the park so if you want to go camping, you can do that as well.

Of course, no trip to South Korea is really complete without a visit to Seoul, the largest city in the country and the second largest metropolitan area in the world (first is Tokyo). There are countless things to do in Seoul and it will be impossible to list them all here but one thing you absolutely must do is hop at one of its major malls. Korea has a vibrant fashion industry and there is no better place to see some of its latest fashion trends than at a major mall. and while at the mall, also check out some of the latest consumer electronic gadgets that Korea has to offer.

If you will be traveling in July, then one activity you should participate in (or at least see) is the Mud Festival in the city of Boryeong. The festival is much more like a wild party, similar to Tomatina in Spain, except with mud. there is lots of mud wrestling and like it or not, if you attend the festival, you will surely be drenched in mud by the end of the day. If you do attend, it will surely be an interesting way to spend your Korean holidays 2013!

Travelling For the Holidays in Singapore 2013

Due to Singapore’s diverse people and cultures, there will be quite a few Singapore holidays 2013 (at least one almost every month) that are observed and celebrated all throughout the year. Then city-state of Singapore consists of Muslims, Christians, and Buddhists, so there are many Singapore holidays that although are very important to one of those religions, they are not given the status of a “public holiday”. The three major holidays of those religions (Vesak, Christmas, and Hari Raya Puasa) are indeed given the status of “public holiday”, which means schools and offices are closed on those days.

If you’re planning on going to spend your holidays in Singapore in 2013, then be sure to start preparing and planning your trip as soon as possible because it is never too early to start preparing. During Singapore holidays 2013, there will be lots of people booking hotels and flights, which can cause the prices to go much higher than normal. That is why it is best to book early so you don’t have to pay those higher prices.

It is meant to be the first day of the (solar) year but now almost everyone in Thailand celebrates the first day of the Gregorian calendar, which is on January 1st. Some people still celebrate just for the sake of it by gathering at temples to honor Buddha by spraying water on its statue, and also spraying water on the hands of each other as a way to wish each other good luck.

May:

01: Labor Day (Wednesday) – Not much to describe, it is celebrated the same way as it is in the United States.

June:

04: Vesak Day (Tuesday) – This one takes place on the day of the full moon of the 6th lunar cycle of the year. It is for celebrating the life of Buddha – his birth, path to enlightenment, and his death/legacy. It is also sometimes referred to as National Tree Day.

There are Buddhist temples to see, elephants to ride and you can even join in by planting a tree for the reforestation projects that are underway.

Caves are plentiful and open to explorers. There are limestone cliffs, bamboo jungles, sandy beaches and tropical islands that will captivate you. The high-tribe villages are so welcoming. The whole experience is so nostalgic and it will all make you long to stay.

It is a great idea to book through Thailand holidays rather than going abroad solo. We are able to get you the most up to date information on the location. You have direct contact to services that allow you knowledge on all of the major points of interest, tourist locations, great dining and entertainment locations and so much more. You are not only advised on the best placed to go, but you are advised on any places to avoid.

The accommodations are ready made. You do not have to worry about flight confusion or hotel bookings being lost. You know you will have a car, room and knowledge of the locations that you want to explore before you ever leave.

All cultural differences, laws and other socially acceptable/unacceptable behaviors to the region are gone over. You will know if you need any documents or immunizations before you lave for the trip, and your trip adviser will stay in touch with you. When you book Thailand holidays it is all about you, your enjoyment and the well being of you and your traveling companions.

Travel advisers have first hand knowledge and information on the region, and they can provide bilingual guides that they work closely with in the local areas that you will be traveling. The list could go on and on about why you should go to Thailand for the holidays, but only three words can summarize it in its entirety. Those are location, location location!

Travelling For Holidays in Bali in 2013

Bali is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world and it is visited by millions of people every year. One of the most popular Bali holidays is Nyepi (Balinese new year), which usually takes place in March. There are festivals all over Bali to celebrate the holiday. Bali is one of the few places on earth that truly deserves its nickname of “paradise”.

The culture of Bali is a little different than the rest of Indonesia since Bali’s main religion is Hinduism rather than Islam. Dancing and music are two of the most popular aspects of Balinese culture. A few of the most popular dances in Bali are Kecak, Barong, and Calonarang. Bali has hotels for almost every budget.

Prices vary from about $20/night to more than $200/night. There are also many luxurious hot springs, spas, and massage parlors in Bali so if you are looking for a vacation destination where you can relax, it doesn’t get any better than Bali.

There are thousands of festivals held each year in Bali in the tens of thousands of temples across the island. In fact, every village in Bali is required by law to build at least three temples. Some of the wealthier villages have a lot more than the three required temples.

One of the most popular festivals in Galungan, which occurs once every 210 days and lasts for 10 days. Nyepi (also known as the “Day of Silence”) is the biggest festival/holiday of the year as it marks the Hindu New Year.

Cambodia is a country in Southeast Asia that borders Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and the Gulf of Thailand. Its biggest city (and capital) is Phnom Penh, which also happens to be one of its most popular tourist destinations. It is relatively easy to get a Visa to Cambodia and it can even be done online for just a $25 fee. Cambodia has 2 major airports – one in Siem Reap and another in the capital, Phnom Penh.

Travelling For Holidays in Cambodia in 2013

If you really want to ravel off the beaten path and experience the real Cambodia in all its mystique and wonder, Siem Reap and Angkor Wat are the places to visit. Angkor Wat is covered with ancient ruins detailing Cambodia’s eventful and colorful history. There are many tourists that visit during Cambodia holidays every year so it’s a safe bet that you won’t be the only foreigner there while on your trip. In fact, Tourism is Cambodia’s second biggest industry (Textiles is first).

Recently, Sihanoukville, a popular beach town in Cambodia, has become known outside of Cambodia as an ideal location for a luxury vacation. The beaches at Sihanoukville are superb and even outclass world renowned beaches in Hawaii, French Polynesia, and California. Some of the best beaches in Sihanoukville are Victory beach, Sokha beach, Otres beach, and Serendipity beach. Any of these places would be ideal to spend Cambodia holidays at.
